Policies

Please read carefully. By enrolling, all families agree to the guidelines below.

Registration+
  • An annual registration fee is required: $40 per dancer or $55 per family (non-refundable).
  • Registration fee and first month's tuition are due upon registration.
  • Trial class fee is $20 and is automatically applied toward registration at the time of enrollment.
  • A liability release accepted online by a parent is required before a student participates in a trial class or is officially enrolled.
  • The registration process must be completed online.
Tuition & Automatic Payments+

All families are required to maintain a valid payment method on file at all times. By enrolling, families authorize the studio to process automatic payments using the payment method saved to their account.

  • Monthly Tuition — automatically charged on the 1st of each month.
  • Recital Costume Fees — automatically charged November 13th. Combo class: $85 / Leveled class: $90.
  • Annual Recital Fee — automatically charged January 15th. $105 per dancer / $75 per sibling.

*Please email info@integritydancearts.com if your dancer will not be participating in the end-of-year recital.

Late Payments & Declined Charges+
  • All account balances are due by the 1st of each month.
  • A $15 late fee per dancer is assessed beginning on the 6th. An additional $15 fee is assessed every three days thereafter until paid in full.
  • Late fees apply to any outstanding balance including tuition, costume fees, recital fees, and other charges.
  • Any payment that is declined or returned will incur a $15 declined payment fee.
  • Accounts unpaid after the 6th result in the dancer being suspended from all classes, rehearsals, performances, and studio activities until the balance is paid.
  • The studio reserves the right to withhold costumes, recital participation, awards, and other materials until all balances are paid.
Refund Policy+

All payments made to the studio are non-refundable. No refunds will be issued under any circumstances, including but not limited to: withdrawal from classes, loss of interest, scheduling conflicts, injury or illness, family relocation, weather-related closures, or missed classes.

By maintaining an active enrollment, families acknowledge and agree to these payment policies.

Attendance & Make-Up Classes+
  • Regular attendance is vital to student progress and group choreography.
  • Please arrive on time — warm-up at the start of class is important for technique and injury prevention.
  • If your student must miss class, please report absences to the studio by phone or email.
  • Students may make up any missed class within the same month of the absence.
  • All make-up classes must be taken in a class of the same age/level or younger.
  • Schedule make-ups with the office by phone or email.
Class Changes & Withdrawal+
  • All class changes must be made with the office by phone or email — not with individual teachers.
  • Withdrawal requires 30 days written notice submitted to the office. Notice must be received before the 1st of the month or full month tuition is owed.
  • Schedules are subject to change based on class size.
Dress Code+
  • Hair pulled back for all classes — Ballet requires a slicked bun.
  • No jewelry other than small stud earrings.
  • Dance shoes inside the studio only — no street shoes on the dance floor.
  • Form-fitting dancewear required in technique classes.
Safety & Drop-Off / Pick-Up+
  • Dancers should wait inside the building for parent pick-up — never outside unattended.
  • If a child is left alone for more than 15 minutes a $25 babysitting fee will be charged to the account.
  • All items brought to the studio should be labeled with the dancer's name. IDA is not responsible for lost or misplaced items.
Weather & Studio Closures+

Integrity Dance Arts follows the McKinney ISD calendar for weather-related closings. If MISD is closed or cancels after-school activities, IDA will be closed. We provide our studio calendar and will email/post reminders for any closures.

Recital+

We end our season with a professional Spring Recital. We encourage but do not require participation. Recital dates are announced as soon as the venue confirms our date. Please email the office if your dancer will not be participating.

Photography & Media+

Photography and video recording inside classrooms is not permitted during regular class time. By enrolling, families grant IDA permission to photograph and video students for marketing and social media unless a written opt-out is submitted to the studio.

Communications+

We keep families informed via monthly newsletters, email, Facebook, Instagram, and the Lobby Communication Center. We are happy to answer any questions about your dancer or our programs!
